INSTALLATION BANQUET: The Installation Banquet (originally scheduled for Sept 23) has been postponed. The new date is Oct 21. See Oct Newsletter for details. HURRICANE FRANCES: Due to the Hurricane, the regular meetings of Sept 2 & 9 and the monthly board meeting were cancelled. We are now back on regular schedule so come join us! FEMA ASSISTANCE: Representatives from FEMA have distributed flyers at our regular meeting. In case you missed one, the FEMA number is 1-800-621-3362. You are encouraged to file a claim for any damage. CONDOLENCES: Our sincere condolences to Al Stokes on the passing of his wife, Mae. RECOVERING: Bob Thompson had a second knee surgery on Aug 30 and is recovering. Bobi O'Neill continues to recover from surgery in Tampa. Gene reports that they have her standing now and she is doing much better. Neil Gunsalus (aka Pastor Wonderful) broke his shoulder. Best wishes to all for a speedy and complete recovery! Kermit and Margaret Nichols and Pete and Rose Mary Knoll are recovering at home. Give them a call and wish them well. KIWANIS EDUCATION: Did you know? Florida District Governor is Robert "Bob" Fowinkle from Bradenton. Gov-Elect is Bill Rushing from Titusville. Their are 26 "Divisions" in the FL District and we are in Div 16.
