GRAD NIGHT: Matt and Paul Buxton did
another fantastic job putting on Grad Night for the graduating seniors.
Fortunately, even though the bank had foreclosed on the bowling alley and it was
closed, they allowed Grad Night to continue. Matt and Paul raised approximately
$20,000 to provide the 366 guests with a wonderful evening with great prizes.
Our Club increased our donation to $1,500 this year due to the economic
situation.
NEW ENDEAVOR REWARD DAY: We again

the event. This is a fun day at the school to celebrate good behavior and
includes a cook-out, DJ, games, and dunk tank.
RED CROSS HERO DAY: Our Club helped
sponsor the American Red Cross Hero Day by donating $100 and hosting a booth
with a card toss game. Special thanks to JD, Greg and Jim for manning the booth.
SPONSORED YOUTH COOK-OUT: Our annual
cook-out for the Builders' and Key Clubs was held on May 21 at the Sports
Complex. Although the Freshman Campus Key Club was not able to attend due to an
event at their school, the OHS Key Club and Yearling Builder's Club attended.
The students enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers (prepared by chef Noel Stephen),
chips, and cookies. Dr Pat Cooper addressed the group and Pres Jim Vensel
presented Cowboys Restaurant gift certificates to the sponsors, Lonnie Kirsch
and Sylvia Bandy. Dan Thomas, Freshman Campus biology teacher, presented
Ryan Reister and Joey Barletto. The Club had donated $500 toward their
expenses to the State Science Fair.
